The Red House Community

We do not currently have a set schedule for household socializing. This aspect of the community is one that changes with the makeup of the community (See Consensus); however, we have a long-standing tradition of celebrating housemate birthdays by taking the individual out to a restaurant of his/her choice. This is paid for with house money.

We aim to make the house a place where all housemates feel a sense of shared ownership. Each housemate should feel comfortable inviting significant others and friends and to hold parties as desired.

Guest Bedroom

There is a guest bedroom with a small dresser/side table and a double-size futon with all the needed bedding (see the southwest bedroom on the floor plan). The guest bedroom is available for any housemate's guests.
